New Delhi: The Supreme Court today asked a Gujarat trial court to speed up recording of confirmation of arraignment observers in a rape case stopped by two Surat-based sisters against so called godman Asaram.
"The trial court is coordinated to speed up the examination of observers as quickly as might be basically conceivable," the seat said.
Extra Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, showing up for Gujarat, said this is a similar case in which two arraignment witnesses have been executed.
He additionally said that 29 indictment witnesses have as of now been inspected and the recording of confirmation of 46 others is as yet remaining.
"Try not to wait it. This is the thing that we need to state (to) you (Gujarat). Speed up the recording of confirmation," the seat said while settling the supplication documented by Asaram for further hearing in the third week of July.
Prior, the top court had declined to allow safeguard to Asaram on different grounds incorporating his weakness in two separate rape cases stopped in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
